"I could still pull off being in high school, right?" - Crossing Something Off My Bucket List

Hello All,

Yesterday I told you guys all about the first part of my birthday! I told you how Hannah and I went to NYC and I was going to cross something off my bucket list.  Well the first sign we saw was...

Because we were going to see Wicked!

When we got there we were a little early but the building was open so we went into the theatre and I took so pictures of the lobby.

Finally they let us go up to near where we were sitting. We were looking around the theater and we noticed a lot of high school age students. We thought that was weird. And then realize it was the time of the year that most high school bring there seniors on trips.

When we entered the theatre we found our seat and they were awesome, we could see everything! When we looked around we noticed we were seated right infront of one of the groups of high schoolars. I was personally worried that they would rude and obnioux during the whole show but spoiler alert they were not the obinioux ones.

While we were waiting for the show to begin we were playing on our phones, checking our social medias and everything. In the row behind us the teacher was going over rules with his students like no talking and don't play on your phone. But he kept repeating put your phone away so I finally looked at Hannah and was like, "Does he think we're one of his students?" And then we decided that we could still pull off being in high school, hence the title of this post!

Soon the show began and we enjoyed the first act in peace.

During the intermission the couple next to us was checking facebook and found our their basketball team had one. They then continued to talk through the rest of the second act about how excited that they were that their team won. It was very frustrating to listen to them talk the rest of the show, especially when I was so excited to see the show!

Overall I though the show was PHENOMENAL and I'm going to share more about my thoughts on the show in one of my next few posts. When we walked out of the theater Hannah and I took a picture in front of the sign, which was taken by a very nice man so if you ever read this, thanks!

LtoR: me and Hannah
I also go a solo picture of me and sign to prove that I really crossed this off my bucket list!

We then walked over back to the train station, I grabbed cake pop at Starbucks and we got on the train. We both fell asleep on the train. When we got off the train we drove home listening to the Wicked soundtrack!

Here are a few other pictures from the night!

For some reason this picture just screams New York City to me!

And that's the story of how I crossed seeing Wicked on Broadway off my bucket list!

Have you seen Wicked? If you have, what did you think? Let me know in the comments below!

  2. ahhh that looks like so much fun! Happy birthday!! I love how the teacher was yelling at you guys thinking you were students! When I first started teaching right after college I got pulled aside by a teacher asking for my hall pass! It was so embarrassing! (but funny now)

  3. I would absolutely LOVE to go see Wicked one day. It's on my bucket list of shows to see, haha. It sounds like you had a lot of fun despite the chatty people next to you during the second act. I think you should take the teacher thinking you were one of his students as a compliment! I always do, haha. I hope you had a wonderful time and a fantastic birthday!!

    1. I highly reccomend seeing it! One of the best show I have EVER seen, I'm actually hoping to see again soon! If you get the chance you have to go see it. I was not at all offended by the teacher thinking one of his students, instead I thought it was hilarious, I was telling everyone about it. Thanks for stopping by and reading.
