My Big Brother 16 Player Rankings

Hello All,

Every year while I watch Big Brother I rank the players using my own point scale that I will explain below. I want to share how all the house guest turned out and share my top 3 favorite players of the season.

Each week they are in the house = 1 point (So, Devin evicted week 3 gets 3 points)
Winning HOH but losing BOB = 3 points
Winning HOH and BOB = 5 points
Winning POV = 5 points
Surviving Eviction when on the block = 3 points
My Player of the Week = 7 points
Making it Jury = 3 points
Winning the whole game = 10 points

16th Place
Joey after winning no competitions and getting evicted week 1 received a grand total of 1 point!

15th Place
Brittany after remaining in the house for 4 weeks and not winning any competitions received 4 points.

14th Place
Paola after remaining in the house for 2 weeks and surviving 1 week's eviction she received 5 points.

13th Place
Amber after remaining in the house for 5 weeks and winning 1 HOH and remaining HOH she received 10 points

12 Points

7th Place:
Victoria who remained in the house 14 weeks, won one POV, survived being on the block 4 times, and making it to jury, Victoria floated her way to 34 points!

6th Place:
Christine who remained in the house for 10 weeks, won and remained HOH one time, won 2 POVs, was my player of the week one time and made it to jury once gained herself 35 points.

5th Place:
Donny (who was named America's Favorite House guest) remained in the house 9 weeks, who never won HOH, won POV once, survived eviction more then one time, was my player of the week 2 times and made it to jury gained himself 40 points!

4th Place:
Frankie remained in the house for 12 weeks, was HOH 2 times, won 2 POVs, was my player of the week once and made it jury danced his way to 42 points.

3rd Place:
Caleb who was in the house for 13 weeks, who was HOH 4 times, never one a POV, was my player of the week and made it to jury beasted his way to 44 points.

2nd Place:
Cody who came in second and lived in the house 14 weeks, was HOH 3 times, won POV 3 times, and survived eviction 1 time  earned himself 48 points.

1st Place:
Derrick was the winner by a long shot! After remaining in the house for 14 weeks, winning HOH multiple times, never winning POV, being my player of the week 2 times and you know winning the WHOLE game he earned himself 62 points!

Although there are some people's who place I don't agree with after looking at all the numbers and keeping track all season these are where they fell. Personally my top 3, well kind of 4 players because 2 were tied were Nicole and Caleb tied for 3rd, Donny 2nd and Zach was my leaps and bounds my favorite player this season!

Who were your favorite players? Let me know below!

22 Before 22

Happy Fall y'all! Today marks the beginning of my favorite season of the year. And no its not because of the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I mean please don't take my blogger title away from me when I say I HATE the taste of pumpkin. There is just something about fall I love. To me fall feels more like beginnings then spring, probably because that's when school starts and you start over with a clean slate. Now that I got that out on the internet let's start the actual post.

Yesterday while I was sitting in my film studies class (p.s. we still haven't watched a good film in that class) I realized that it was September 22nd which means it was exactly six months until my 21st birthday. So, I decided to create one of those x before x list. Because everyone's doing it, duh! So, I've come up with 22 things that I want to do in the next 18 months.

I've broken my goals up into 7 different cateogories and they all seem somewhat obtainable as long as I close out of Netflix and and get off my butt.

1. Spend a weekend in NYC
New York City has always been my happy place and I just want to wake up one morning and be in New York City!

2. Go on weekend road trip
I feel like it would be so cool to drive up to New Hampshire or Vermont with my friends, stay in like a log cabin or something and just hang out. No phones allowed!

3. Go on Vacation with Friends
You might wonder what the difference between that in the top thing. But when it comes to vacation I'm thinking more then a weekend, more like Spring break!

4. Start Looking at going to or actually go to Europe.
I have always wanted to go to Europe but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I do think that looking into a trip and start saving for one is plausible.

5. Hold an Internship
Although I don't think I'm going to graduate on time, I do know that I need to start looking for internships. So, its time to start looking and actually have one. Plus I can wear all kinds of cute business clothes.

6. Look into different careers and start narrowing down what I want to do
Since Changing my major I have absolutely no clue what I want to do with my life but I'm planner and want to at least have a few possible fields to look into post grad life. Cue the mental break down sequence now.

7. Work on finishing the novel I started writing.
I in now way think that being an author will be the only career I will ever hold but I have been working on a novel since junior year of high school and would like to continue working on it and maybe one day get it published because I love it and maybe someone else will too!

8. Get on the Dean's List

9. Have a good idea as to when I'm going to graduate
Since changing my major I realized that I am more then a few credits behind and most like won't be graduating in May of 2016 like planned but I do want to know about when I'll be graduating by the time I'm 22.

10. Hold another leadership position on campus
I loved being a secretary of club last year and right now I don't have room on my plate to be a student leader but eventually I would love to be able to do that again.

11. Build my youtube and blogging audience
No, I don't believe that the number of views matter but I would love to make friends and learn more about other people through these to mediums.

12. Create a New Blog Design
I recently bought a blog design program and now want to be able to design my own blog and use it for myself.

13. Meet a Blogging Friend in Person & Make More Blogging Friends
Yes, I do know Natalie in person but I can't wait to make more friends and meet some in person.

14. Bring Mama Judy out to dinner on my own dime
I have never actual brought my mom out to dinner and I would love to do that for her after all the things she's done for me in the past few years.

15. Set Up a Budget
I want to be able to handle my money when I'm older and if I do that I should start he habits and practices now!

16. Increase the money I have in savings
The money that I have in savings is money I will have one day when I get married, buy a house or whatever else I might want to do in the future.

17. Look for Healthy new recipe to eat
Got stay up on the health and take care of myself.

18. Train for and run a 5K
I've always wanted to do it but I suck at running!

The Future:
19. Take More Pictures
I already take a lot of pictures but I want to take more so that I don't forget anything. And one day when I actually can afford it again I can scrapbook everything!

20. Do research on where I want to move when I grow up
Even though I love New York City I have no clue where I want to move when I graduate. I always knew I wanted to leave my home state and maybe I'll just let the fates decide or maybe I'll know exactly where I'm going post grad.

21. Start saving for my future bull dogs
In love that is all I have to say about this

22. Create all sorts of memories
Enough said!

And that is all the things, if not more that I want to do before I turn 22. What are some of your goals?

Hello All,

I want to start by thanking all of you for sticking with me while I go on a smallish blogging break to focus on school more. But I promised I would write when I had ideas and time. ...that he's goofy
...he can cry and every time he does it completely breaks my heart
...he can twerk
...he looks amazing as a hipster
...he can rap
His eviction speech
...he not much older then me so I don't feel creepy crushing on him

...he's a younger version of Dr. Will and again not that creepy that I crush on him
Zach left and Dr. Will right
...he looks good in pink
...he as a charming smiling
...he's pretty dreamy
...he's family orientated and loves his mom and younger brother
Picture from Zach's younger brother's instagram, I found it on google
...he loves his dog
...he's funny
...he looks like he gives great hugs
...He coined the phrase Frootloop Dingus (my new favorite phrase)
So, Zach if you're looking for a girlfriend I will joyful accept, even if you don't use my favorite pick up line.

The Unauthorized Saved By Bell Story

Hello All,

When you were growing up did you have your go to show or channel to watch when you were home sick from school? Well I did, it was TBS, it had re runs of Friends, Everyone Loves Raymond and whole bunch of other '90s shows but favorite was always Saved by the Bell.

For those of you who didn't watch old sitcom and aren't an 80's 90's teen the show follows six friends as they navigate their way through high school. These friends include Zach Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselar NYPD Blue, Franklin & Bash), Screech (Dustin Diamond, author), Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies Fire & Ice, How to be a Player), Kelly (Tiffiani (Amber) Thiessen Beverly Hills 90210, While Collar) and Jessie (Elizabeth Berkley Show Girls). The show dealt with comedic story lines and hard hitting story lines like when Jessie gets addicted to caffeine pills.

Although the sets were simple and the stories could get corny I loved the show and would watch it every time I was sick. I knew it wasn't the best of the best when it came to shows but I would watch every chance I would get and that is true to this day. If I was flipping through the channels and saw it now I would watch in heart beat.

So, last night when Grace and I were flipping through the channel we hit Lifetime that was playing there made for TV movie, The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell story. And I knew I had to watch it! This movie was made with only the help of Dustin Diamond and based on a tell all book written by Diamond called Behind the Bell

Although I had heard about the book and all the crazy things Diamond said happened behind the scene I felt this movie went with the tamer side of things, that is if its anything the reviews I've heard of Behind the Bell.

The movie starts out with a young Dustin Diamond (Sam Kindseth) audition for the part of Screech on Good Morning Miss Bliss, which originally aired on Disney Channel. This series last barely a season and was the first time the show would be cancelled. Dustin along with Mark-Paul (Dylan Everett, Degrassi) and Lark (Taylor Russell) were the only Saved by the Bell cast members on this show.

Diamond (Kindseth) and Mark-Paul (Everett) on the set of Good Morning Miss Bliss
The show then got a new life when it was moved to NBC to go along with the Saturday morning cartoon line up. Which is when they brought in the other big names Mario Lopez (Juilian Works), Elizabeth Berkley (Tiera Skovbye) and Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Alyssa Lynch). The movie then followed them through the 4 years series run from the "first day" when Dustin realized that he would never really be friends Mark-Paul who had matured since their time on Good Morning Miss Bliss through Graduation Day.

Lark (Russell), Mark-Paul (Everett). Tiffani Amber (Lynch), Mario (Works), Elizabeth (Berkley) and Dustin (Kindseth)
Although we got glimpse into Paul-Mark, Mario, Elizabeth, Lark and Tiffani Amber's life on and off set. We saw mainly the trials that Dustin went through. From experiment with Pot and vodak, from being used for his position in Hollywood.
Although this is probably true of every TV show we saw how out of real life situation were put into the story lines of  show. From Mario and Elizabeth's flirtmance to the love triangle between Mark Paul, Lark and Tiffani Amber (#TeamZally Zach & Kelly's ship name?). Most of all the fact that Dustin didn't quite fit in with the rest much like Screech in the show.

Lark (Russell) and Mark-Paul (Everett)
When I started to watch movie I was slightly worried that seeing the behind the scenes would ruin the love I have for these characters but it didn't. I still love the show and now knowing that not everything was perfect behind the scene didn't change anything.

Were you a Saved By the Bell fan? Did you watch the movie? Did it change anything for you? Let me know!

The First Few Days

Hello All,

Happy Friday! I have Wifi! Its all the end of my first 7 days of school. The first week went pretty well and now I'm going to tell you about it!

My first day of school was on Thursday and was a good day. It started somewhat early because my first class started at 9:35 AM. My first class was actually School Heath 203 and it just one of the general school requirements. Everything I heard was that it would be any easy A class and it doesn't seem really hard. The teacher seems nice and that's good. My second class was Media Studies 245 which is one of my major classes! I feel like this teacher is going to be one of my favorites this semester. She's super nice and sweet. A lot of kids from my last semester MDS class were in and well as my bestie Mandi. After class I went to lunch with Mandi and then hung out in my dorm until I had to go to work.

I don't have classes on Friday! And Monday was Labor Day so I had a 4 day weekend! For the whole weekend I worked which was good because my hours get cut for the semester. I also went out to dinner with Mama J and we got some last minute things for the suite. Thanks Mama J.

The classes were a repeat of Thursdays. After class I went to Mandi and Hannah's apartment for a while and then Mandi and I went shopping. And I spend the evening hanging out with 2 of my roomies.

Started WAY too early because I had a 8:10 class. Normally this class will be 2 and half hours because it is a studio art class and they give a lot of time to work on our project. The teacher seems so nice and I'm kind of excited to see if I have any potential of being good at art. Most days I have like 5 hour break but hopefully I'll find a club that meets during that time. At 3:25 I have my creative writing class which is going to kill me with the amount of work (part of the reason I decided not to have a blogging schedule anymore) but hopefully it'll make my writing better.

The only school day that I didn't include is Monday. I have Art and and English on Monday just like Wednesday but I also have 2 and half hour film studies class that starts today! I haven't had it yet but I'm kind of excited because I LOVE movies and the class is suppose to be pretty good.

And that is the first few days of my new semester. I'm excited, feeling positive and ready to go! To all you starting a new semester I hope you have a good one!

A Difficult Decision

Hello All,

I have been thinking long and hard about how I'm going to handle my bloggy this semester. Some of you might remember that last year my goal was to keep up with the bloggy all year and stay on my schedule and it was A LOT of work!

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret it, not in the least but I'm not sure that is something I can do this year. I'm not saying that I'm going to stop blogging, I could NEVER do that. But I know that this semester is going to be a lot of writing and a lot of work. Plus, I'm a lifestyle blogger, I need to be able to live life in order to write a lifestyle blog. I don't want to stress myself out more by worrying about getting post up on certain days.

With all that being said I have officially decided that The World According to Emma will no longer run a schedule! I went back and forth and thought about reducing the number of days that I blog but I don't want to make promises I can't keep. I also don't want to put out half assed pieces, I'd rather take my time and put out good quality ones.

I am a list maker and planner and I love schedules. So, I am going to set a goal to get you at least one post in a week. If it doesn't happen I'm not going to beat myself up about it. But if I can get more out in a week I will and they will *Fingers Crossed*** be AWESOME posts!

Thanks for understanding and I hope you will continue to follow me along on this crazy journey called life!

Move-In Day 2014 & New Hair {VLOG}

Hello All,

Please forgive me for the lack of pictures in this post, move-in day got completely away from me.

But first I wanted to share with you guys the fact that the day before I moved into school I dyed my hair for the first time. Although in some light you can't completely tell its redder but I love it!

Okay, so I woke up at like 7:45 the day of move-in which was last Wednesday. I loaded up my last couple of loads into the car and took a selfie!

I had a couple of errands to run before I moved in and they went relatively smoothly. After that I picked up Natalie who graciously offered to help me move in. Thanks again girly! And event though we don't have any pictures together I swear we know each other in real life.

We got everything up to my room in only a couple of trips and we did a couple of quick errands around campus and then we organized all my stuff and bonded with my new roomies. I'm living with my old neighbors for last year, Grace and Megan as well as a new roommate who we just meet Morgan. Everyone seems to be doing well!

After I dropped Natalie off I went out to dinner with Hannah and Mandi and again I didn't take any pictures. Ooops.

So, that was move in day. I'm sorry if this was a really boring post! But you can watch a VLOG of the two days I talked about in this post because I vlogged some of it and I actually really like this VLOG.
