2009: no ac in the summer cuz i've done that 
2015: no ac in the summer because that's how my house and car have been forever.

2015: I do but I think its extremely rare and takes a lot of work and most teenagers aren't mature enough yet.

2009: it's not hard to be taller than me

Beach Afternoon With Tori!

Hello All,

Earlier this week I went to the beach with one of my besties Tori! We were only there for a couple hours but it was so much fun and I vlogged the whole thing!

Anyways I started the day off by babysitting for a family friend. When I came home Tori and I met up and drove the hour to the beach. When we got there most people were heading home and leaving for the day. We found a pretty prime place and set up camp for our couple hours there. 

Soon, we notice this group of people, it was somebody's birthday and they were slightly drunk. While sunbathing Tori and I listen to their conversation and the were very entertaining! When we got to hot we  went down to the water to cool down. While down there we asked the group if they'll take a picture of us and soon all of their friends were photobombing, which brought about a lot funny pictures. 

On our way out we told them how entertaining they all had been and that they had made our day. They seemed happy by it. 

We had to hurry home because Tori had to get to work but we did stop at Starbucks and got some drinks and cakepops (YUM!) Going to the beach with Tori was so much and I'm so glad that I got to go with her. When we got home I had to run back to the people who I baby sat because I took there spare key with me. Ooops!

The Perfect Man

You know those girls in chick flicks who have their "list" of qualities that they want their perfect man to have? And in the movie the man they normally end up falling for has none of the qualities because that would make for a extremely boring movie right? 

Today my friend, Lauren and I were talking about life and everything. The topic the of boys came up, are you surprised? You shouldn't be, girls like to talk about boys. LOL. Anyways that conversion got me thinking if I could find the perfect guy right now who would he be.

Why I Will Never Meet My Prince Charming at Work

I was so excited about this post because I was going through some writer's block the past few days and then I was at work yesterday sweeping by the window and I felt like I was in a movie and that the leading male would walk by the store and probably not notice me but then one day he would see me and I'd have a told Cinderella transformation montage and he'd see me and we would fall madly in love. LOL. 

Anyways, I started thinking and realized that because of where I work I will probably never meet my Prince charming at work for this reason.

1. I have to wear a hat everyday so nobody will see my lushes beautiful hair.

Embrace the Rain

I'm sorry I'm so behind in my blogging and I'm still trying to get out post about things that happened over a month ago but I'm trying. 

Anyways about a month ago New England was suffering a major heatwave and everyone was miserable. It was the kind of heat where you sweat buckets just from sitting on your butt watching TV. But one day all day it looked like it was going to rain and everyone knew that when it started to rain it would break the heat.

At around 9:30-10 o'clock one night Hannah (my roommate), Mandi (Our best friend) and I were hanging out in the rain. We could tell the storm was getting closer and we were beyond excited. Hannah came up with the idea to go outside and play/dance in the rain when it finally started to rain. 

Before we knew it, it was rain. We ran outside and just started dancing and screaming. We joined by multiple other people who live in our building. Every time people would walk by we tell them to embrace the rain because it was finally going to cool down. 

Since Hannah has a water proof phone case she took some picture and videos.

Blogtember: A Review - Day 16

Hello All,

Today's blogtember is perfect because it kills 2 birds with 1 stone! The topic for today is to review something and I'm going to review two shows that came to my campus. Both of these reviews were posts I was planning on doing these post anyways so why not do it during Blogtember.

The first show that came to campus was a comdian who is featured on Chelsea Lately named Thomas Dale.

He was absolutely hilarious. The whole audience was laughing through is whole set and I was beyond disappoint when his set ended. 

My favorite part of the show was that it was so interactive. One of the his bits he did was talk to the Frat that was in the audience, Beta Mu Sigmas (in my opinion: the best looking frat on campus). He would joke around with them and flirt with them (he was very openly gay) and the guys luckily played alone making it very enjoyable. 

At the end of the show he gave us his twitter. So, I decide to tweet at him.

And he tweeted back at me I was so excited about it! I love when people tweet you back, its just a good feeling!

In all honesty if you see Thomas dale coming to a club, a college or anywhere near you run and grab your tickets. Run don't walk to those tickets because he is beyond worth it!

The other show I went to this week was the Hungry Hunger Games, a parody of the Hunger Games. I believe they are touring colleges.

Basically they took the story line of The Hunger Games and made fun of it. I was a little apprehensive about it because I haven't seen the movies or read the books.

I know, its shocking but I never got into the series. I just wanted to get out on Friday night.

And It ended up being totally worth because it was hilarious. There were things that went of my head probably because they were part of the series. But their were parts that referenced pop culture and those were funny. They also had funny things that everyone could relate to.

I think if I had to recommend it I would probably say it would be more enjoyable for someone who has seen the movies or the read the books.

Adventures In Dog sitting By Kizzy

As some of you may know I've been dog sitting for the past few weeks. I'm about half way through my dog sitting days and I thought I'd do a fun, unique post from the dog, I'm dog sitting's point of view. I hope you enjoy this post. 

Hello,

My name is Kizzy, I'm staying at this house we the girl who runs this blog and another lady. They seem really nice, especially the girl. She takes care of me the most. She feeds me in the morning and at night. She takes me out during the day and for our night-night walks. 

Every afternoon when the girl is done with her chores we have what we call our snuggle session. I'm not sure what it means except she turns on the color box with moving pictures and lays next to me on the couch. I like it because I get lots of attention and kisses and pets.

Being loved it exhausting, I normally take naps during our snuggle session,  the girl doesn't mind because she plays on her phone

I love the couch, its my favorite place to be. It makes the lady laugh because my Mommy brought a blanket to their house and the lady put it on chair. But nope I LOVE the couch not the chair. What can I say, I love to snuggle.

That lady comes home when its getting close to bed time. She likes to lay on the couch too. I don't like her as much as I like the girl but I lay on the couch. The lady says that my heart rate gets faster when she sits on the couch with me. I don't know why.  

I've learned some new tricks while living here, I hope I can remember them when I go home. I learn when the girl tells me to get in my 'house' it means that I have to get in the little room (Translation: Her crate) where my bed is. I only have to be in their at night and when nobody is home. Sometimes I go in there when I need quiet time. 

I also have learned some routines. I know when the girl comes upstairs in the morning it means its time to go outside. Or when I see the string with the big handle it means that it time to go outside again. I know when we come inside from outside when its dark it means that its time to go in my house because its bedtime. 

The girl says I'm smart and that she loves me.

The Different Type of Car

Hello All,

Mama J bought a new car yesterday! I'll be getting her old car when I save some money for gas and other car expenses.  I went shopping with Mama J and I realized I know very little about cars. Mama J would be like "I really watch and hatchback instead of sedan." But I had no clue what she was talking about. I'm so bad that when someone asks me what kind of car my parent drives my answer is the color that the car is. 

I felt the need to write today but couldn't think of a great topic so I decide that I would write a post to you guys about my definition of different types of vehicles.

First is the car...

A four door vehicles and a flat trunk. 

Truck:

It has bed for a trunk. 

A Van:

A big trunk and the side door slides.

A SUV

A combination of car and van. 

A Jeep (A.K.A my dream car)

So, beautiful :'). Yup, I love jeeps! Well I like Wranglers but there is also the Cherokee. 

As you can see I know very little about cars, I give them their general name, instead of their more specific name. I know their are some that are missing but those are the big ones. I'm very happy my not knowing the different types of cars, hopefully when I actually have to go buy my own car I will know someone who will be able to help me. 

In other news today I bough tickets to go see Hunter Hayes in September at fair. I'll be going with my roommate and I'm so excited because I'm just in love with Hunter Hayes.

Throwback Thursday...4th of July

Happy 4th of July! I hope everyone is having a great day!

Its time for another throwback Thursday, I'm sorry I missed last weeks I had horrible writers block I spend so much time trying to get words on the screen but none of them seemed to work. But I'm back and ready to  link up with Bonnie from The Life of Bon again this week and talk about 4th of July!

The 4th of July has never been a huge deal in my family, we've never really had a BBQ or set off fireworks. Some years we would be at my Grandma's summer house and we watch the town fireworks from her dock. But that wasn't a yearly tradition. 

For a good 6-7 years I did have tradition that I enjoyed a lot. I use to go to an over night camp and the girl's session always fell on week of 4th of July. Every year they would get all the campers together and we would walk about a mile and half into town to watch the town's parade, the way we would sing camp songs and have a great time. When we returned we swim, eat lunch, have our rest hour (a daily hour of rest in our cabin, you could sleep, read, write letter, listen to music, etc..) after rest hour we sit and watch the boat parade and then have a free swim. That night for our evening activity we would have staff run carnival where they would set up games like a bean bag toss or egg on spoon races. Then we would end the evening with patriotic songs watch the town fireworks. It was a cute little tradition and it was a nice break from the day to day events of camp. 

I don't have any pictures of me for this post but here are some pictures from my camp website of the camp. 

Last year I was home for the fourth of July. Mama J and I were just hanging out in the living room when I got a phone call from my neighbor and best friend Tori telling me that we could see fireworks from the top of our hill. I went outside and joined her mother and her started to watch them. After the show end we went to sit on the hill a little further up and spend time catching up. And when I say time we were probably outside for a good hour to an hour and half talking. When all the sudden it start to rain and we ran back to our houses laughing the whole time as the rain got more and more hard. That is actually probably one of my favorite memories of the two of us because it wasn't rain to hard but we rain like we were in the middle of a huge storm. 

Those are my two real Fourth of July memories. And both are pretty good. What are some of your favorite fourth of July memories?
