New Year's Resolution Introduction

Hello All,

I hope you all had a fabulous start of the New Year! Now that the Holiday seasons are over my blogging will go back to its normal 5 days a week schedule. And its time for a new feature on the blog, for the new year.

There is something about being blogger that makes most blogger want to share their goals with the world and that's just what I'm going to do. I'm going to share with you guys some of my New Year's Resolution for this year. And then every three months I will check in with you guys on how my goals are going.  Sound good? Yes? Good!

1. Start Eating Healthier and Exercising More
Source
I don't think many of my readers today were around when I first started and wrote a post about Freshmen 15 and I said how I would works to change it. But in all honesty I didn't do well keeping up with it. I didn't really have time but this I am determine to get into shape and eat heathier.
2. Either cross off or start planning (i.e. trips) 3 items off my bucket list
source
I have created a Bucket List of things that I want to do before I die. A lot of these things are things that I could start planning today and working towards. I want to either be able to cross out or start planning to cross 3 items off the list.
3. Start dealing with after math of decision that I made recently
I haven't officially announced this decision on my blog and all honesty i probably won't be announcing it until later this year but this decision is going to have some after math that I need to figure out. This decision isn't a bad thing, instead it actually a really good thing.
4. Finish 5 blankets to donate
the one I'm working on right now
On my bucket list I have a goal to donate 150 blankets to a children's hospital throughout my life. During 2014 I want to make 5 of this blankets to donate.
5. Read 7 new books that aren't for school
source
I haven't gotten a lot of chances to read in the last year and half but I want to work on reading new interesting books this year. I want to read 7 books that interest me are that are good.

6. Become More Organized
Source
The other day I had moment where I realized that I had gotten a due date for my winter session mixed up and almost missed a deadline and that just not going to work. But not only that I feel like this semester I would get overwhelmed by not being organized and just shut down. But luckily for me that was a wake up call to remind me of who I always wanted to be. When I pictured growing up, I pictured my desk in my "home office" looking somewhat like the one above and there is not time like the present to start striving toward who I want to be. So I want to become more organized.

Those are my New Years Resolutions. Do you have any New Years Resolutions this year? What are they? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. Great goals! Fitness is one of my goals for this month, I'm trying to be more consistent about it. Reading is always one of my priorities, especially with how I spend my down time. Haha. That goal of crocheting blankets is wonderful, I knit, but I have yet to learn how to crochet.

    1. Thank you! I have to rejoin my schools gym but I will once I get back to school at the end of the week. I wish I had more time to read but hopefully I will find some time. I normally corchet while I watch TV so that I'm not sitting still. LOL. Thanks for stopping by!
