I feel like almost every college blogger and young lady blogger out there seems to want to be Carrie Bradshaw, except me. I don't know why, I guess because I'm not one of those people who love Sex in the City. In fact the closest I've gotten to watching Sex in the City is the Carrie Diaries which from everything that I've heard is completely different then the show its inspiration. But I have gone of track, you last week something happened that was very Rory Gilmore esque.
A few weeks ago Natalie facebook messages me telling me that her editor on the school newspaper was looking for new writer's and she thought of me. She got me in contact with her editor and she gave me a list of topics to write about. As soon as I got the list one of them jumped out and I was excited to try.
A few weeks ago I sent in my first article and the editor told me it was good to go. On February 12, 2014, I was able to cross something off my bucket list and officially say that I am published writer! Just like Rory Gilmore was in college.

A couple weekends ago the merps and I went on a Merp date (I forgot to take pictures but we went out to dinner and to movie and looked all pretty but I forgot to take picture, I was a bad blogger). Anyways, the movie we went to see what That Awkward Moment so of course I wanted to do a review. But before I start I want to remind you guys that all these thoughts are my own and I was in no way paid for doing this.
The stories follow three friend of the male species who all are all going through that awkward moments in a relationship. The main character, Jason (Zac Efron) is what some would call a player, he has a "rooster" of girls that he hooks up with and rule that states that he won't see them more than once a week. Next is Jason's best friend Dainel (Miles Teller) is a player as well and his best wing man, isn't a man at all but instead his best girl friend, Chelsea (Mackenzie Davis). And then there is Mikey (Michael B. Jordan) who is a successful doctor who is going through a divorce. The three men agree that none of them will enter a relationship but each hit bumps in a road that make that hard.
The actors in this movie where funny and did well together but in my opinion the movie wasn't as good as the hype made it out to be. It was very good and the acting was good and the story was good, they just didn't add up correctly to me.
I do think that I will watch the movie again when it comes out on DVD, I was very tired when I saw it and that could have clouded my judgement. If it something you were debating seeing I would recommend waiting until its on DVD but if you have wanted to see since you saw the first commercial then go to the movies and see it!

It would probably be totally adorbs if I could announce the fact that I have boyfriend on my blog but in all honesty I don't. So, I'm a single pringle and ready to mingle this year!
So, today I want to talk to you about how much I HATE Valentine's day. I am one of those people who think that Valentine's Day is a way too commercialized and I'm not saying that because I'm single!
Like why should I spend a lot money on one day a year to buy a gift, cards and random other stuff for my beau. Or spend a whole day showing him how much I told him just because the calendar says February 14.
Like am I suppose to treat horribly every other day or the year? No! I should show him how much I love 365 days a year because that's just it I love him.
I also hate all the cliche stuff that comes along with Valentine's day! Flowers, candy, bears holding hearts, no thank you! Like if you want to give me flowers give them to be on a random Thursday. If you want to give me candles well, candy is welcomed any day of the week. Also I don't care if you are the love of my life if you propose to me on Valentine's I will say no. #SorryNOTSorry
But you see, I love all my amazing readers who come back and read constantly.So, because of that I just wanted to take Valentine's day to tell you guys how much I love you guys!

Today is a snow day and I don't have school or anything else and I found today that I was nominated for another Liebster Award. And I am beyond flatter to be nominated for liebster awards, they have literally been making my day!
Much like my last liebster award I am going to just answer the questions but I don't want to do the 11 fun facts or questions.

What are your favorite baby names for girls and boys?
Girl Names: Olivia Louise and I would call her Livi Lou. I also love the names Chelsea, Alexis and Leah
Boy Names: I really only like the name Nathaniel.
What is your favorite thing about blogging?
Not to sound too corny but there are so many things I love about blogging. I love getting emails that people commented on my blog, I love coming up with new topics to write about, I love editing pictures that I can put up here, I love reading what other people have to say on their blogs, I love making new bloggy friends.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
This may sound really lame but I want a dog. I talk about getting a dog all the time. One of my most said phrase is probably "I want a puppy" If you follow me on Instagram you probably seen multiple pictures that I have posted of puppies. I obsessed.
One Tree Hill or Gossip Girl?
This is a hard one. I love One Tree Hill, I love Naley but I didn't like the last season. Although I love Gossip Girl I didn't like the characters as much but the stories were better.

So, many but I think I would have to say that David and Donna from Beverly Hills 90210 are my all time favorite. They never stopped loving each other and it is beyond adorable.
Followed closely by Pacey and Joey from Dawson's Creek. If I could find a guy who is a combination of Pacey and Logan from Gossip Girl I would be the happiest girl on the planet!
I used to be so good about journaling but I don't have a lot time to it, so I started blogging and now I write all the time.
How many piercings and tattoos do you have?
I had my ear pierced but they closed up.

Actually later this week you'll find out the first thing I crossed off my bucket list. I have a whole list of things that I still want to do but my biggest dream one is doing Semester at Sea but I don't know if I'll be able to afford that ever!

Either go and do Semester at Sea or fund a Gilmore Girls Reunion Movie.

Happy Thursday everyone! Here on the World According to Emma we get ready to set sail by different types of fun posts about Disney's ship, the Fantasy!
Today I have researched some fun facts for you about the Fantasy and found some awesome pictures of the ship!
-The Fantasy is the 4th Disney Cruise Ship preceded by the Wonder, the Magic and the Dream
-Its Maiden Voyage was March 31, 2012 (Mama J and I almost went on the Fantasy that year but we changed our minds for another trip)
-Dumbo puts the finishing touches on the Disney Fantasy Stern. Where his ears measure out to be 7 feet and Dumbo himself is a little over 8 feet, and he weighs about 2,300 pounds

Some of you may be have remembered that I was nominated for Liebster Award a couple of weeks ago! You can read it here! Anyways I have been nominated again, twice! But here's the thing Not a lot of the bloggers I follow have less then 200 followers and I don't want to keep nominating the same people but I do want to answer their questions because they are awesome!

1. What's your favorite color?
This question is actually extremely hard because my favorite color changes quite often. Mainly it circles around blue, pink, purple and sometimes it goes out to green as well. Its that weird?
A Little Bit Stronger by Sara Evans. Yes, I know this a break up song but the first time I heard this song was when I was diagnoisted with depression and to me it became the song that reminded me that sometimes you are knocked down but every day you get a little bit stronger.
4. What's your favorite junk food to binge on?
Frosting. I love to eat frosting out of the can.
5. If you could do anything right now, without consquence, what would it be?
I actually don't know what I would do, this question is so hard.
6. Why did you want to be a blogger?
I wanted away to record what I was doing and then it became a passion and now I can't imagine my life with out it.
7. Do you ever find a time when you struggle with deciding to post something?
Yes, sometimes it can be really hard and then there are weeks on end where I have ideas pouring out of my ears.
8. Do you consider yourself to be a journalist?
You can read about that here but long story short as a blogger no, I don't think I'm a journalist.
10. What's some advice that you can give to novice bloggers?
Blog what you love and what you want to write about, it doesn't matter anyone else has to say!

1. You have an entire day to yourself, what do you do?
Blog, read blogs, watch everything and anything with Dylan O'Brien in it, or some sappy chick flicks that would make me cry, crochet, watch youtube, sleep, turn my phone off, not go on facebook or twitter, basically go off the grid. That sounds like a great day off.
2. Why do you blog?
Its fun, I've made friends and strengthen a relationship with one of my friends about it, I get to keep track and remember everything that I've done in college. But mainly because I'm passionate about it.
3. If you could only eat one thing for an entire year, what would it be?
Mac&Cheese
4. What genre of music do you love that would surprise most people?
That's a hard questions, I listen to almost everything but my obsession songs right now are See You Tonight by Scotty McCreery, If I Were a Boy by Beyonce (Especially when Unique sings it on Glee) and Somebody by Reba. Some are some what older but I just rediscovered them.
5. Coffee or tea?
Neither, I just never found a type I like.

I love Cruising, I can't wait until my 7 day one in May!

No, I don't like the Olympics, I can't watch sports on TV its too boring and I can't focus on it that long.

I try to go to the gym but that rarely happens. Ooops.

I love Disney and know a bunch of random facts about it to the point that I hate when people debate me about it because I really do know a lot about it.

Before I start today's post I want to share a transformation Tuesday picture because I cut my hair and if you read this post you may know that I am over attached to my hair and I swear to God I am going through separation aniexty from my hair! Okay maybe that's a little dramatic. But here it is!
Now on to today's post! As I have mentioned a couple time, we are having tons of snow here right now, they are predicting a blizzard to come on Thursday! But on our last snow day (last Wednesday) Hannah and I were prepared and trying making new foods! The first thing we tried out was cupcakes using this special cups Hannah got for Christmas!
Also on that note this is not a review in any way but anything I say is my opinion and was not given anything to write this post! Now we may continue.
We decided to make funeti (yum!) cupcakes with funeti hot pink frosting (double yum!).
Like I said we were making them in special cups and this is what they look like.
Since we are college students and this was somewhat spur of the moment we mixed our ingredient in the pasta pot! #CollegeLife
I just thought this looked artsy
The final step was to fill the cup up with batter and put them on a cookie sheet and popped them in the oven.
One thing that we learned was that it took the cupcake a while longer to bake in the oven then it said on the box but finally they were done!
We let them cool slightly and then it was time to frost the cupcakes and put on the sprinkles.
They came out deliciously!
The second thing we tried that night was to make homemade pizza! Hannah and Mandi had cheese one and I put chicken on it!

There was a little piece that looked like a heart
While Hannah did that, I cut up my chicken.
Then it was time to put the pizza together!
We baked it as long as the roll told us to bake it and it came out perfectly.
