Things I'll Leave In Sophomore Year

Hello All,

Last Week my bloggy Bestie, Natalie wrote this awesome post all about things she's going to leave in last semester. Well today I'm going to kind of copy that idea but instead of things I'd like to leave in last semester I'm going to talk about all the things I'm going to leave in sophomore year.

As many of people know sophomore year was probably one of the hardest years I've had in school like ever! But I'm ready for a super stellar junior year because my summer has been just what I needed so I'm hoping this school year will follow.

So, the things I'm going to leave in last year is...

...The negative energy that nothing is going as planned

...Hell the need to have anything/everything planned, I'm going live life as it goes

...I'm going to leave unneeded stress behind.

...the guilt of getting people who make me feel negative out of my life

...the second guessing about changing my major

...the shyness, I'm going to talk to everyone and anyone

What are you leaving behind as you move onto a new chapter? Let me know in the comments below.

-P.S. My bloggy is going on hiatus. On Friday I found that I was going away from Monday-Thursday of this week and didn't have enough time to write this week's post. Thank you for understanding and know that I have some awesome post coming in the coming weeks. See you guys Saturday for the Big Brother Recap. xoxo

Big Brother Weekly Recap {Week 6}

Hello All,

This week's Big Brother is part of the reason I fell in love with Big Brother in the first place. Let's getting talking...

This week's HOH was a true or false game. It went to six way tie breaker leaving Donny and Nicole as HOHs.
Source
The Battle of the Block was played by Jocasta and Zach along with Caleb and Victoria. They had to built a Dominio line and pick 3 punishments that would cause the line to hit the buzzer. Which ever 3 punishments they chose the winning team had to complete. The race was neck and neck through most of the race Caleb and Victoria pulled out the win. And they were stuck with the punshiments of being tied together for 48 hours, 2 weeks on slop and one of them needed to get there heads shaved.

The POV was played by Christine, Nicole, Zach, Victoria, Caleb, and Jocasta. In this competition they had to zip line pass window that show comic book version of all the house guests. They  had to then put the comics in order on the other side. Which ever house guest did the fastest would then win. Victoria maxed out her time and got disqualified and Christine and Nicole were neck in neck but Christine was the ultimate winner.

Donny and Nicole both knew that they didn't want to put Hayden up and each had their own person they didn't want to go up. They each had their own alliances to take care of. But they both agreed if given the chance they would backdoor Frankie.

Donny nominated Caleb and Victoria and Nicole nominated Zach and Jocasta. After the BOB Zach and Jocasta remained on the block and it looked like the plan to back door could be done. Especially after Christine won POV. But for the first time all summer the POV wasn't used leaving Zach and Jocasta on the block.

Nicole and Hayden reached out to Cody and Derrick to start a new alliance. Derrick and Cody thought about it but ulitmately the alliance fell through after who they decided to evict.

For the first time this summer the detonators weren't in power and one of there own were up on the block. Frankie, Christine, Derrick, and Cody spend a good amount of the post POV ceremony thinking they were going to keep Jocasta and get rid of Zach.

After Christine didn't go along with Nicole's plan to backdoor Frankie the alliance between Nicole, Christine and Hayden was completely ruined.

Hayden and Nicole remained adorable and dorky throughout the week.

Zach and Frankie's bromance hit the rock when Zach was put up on the block and goodness know what that means for their relationship.

We haven't really seen the drama that will probably unfold next week after Thursday's night live show.

The house went back and forth about who would go home they didn't all agree. By a vote of 6-2 the house sent there first member jury who was...

Before I announce my player of the week I need to talk about the double eviction! The HOH competition they were given different stats and they needed to say whether the number was too high, too low or equal to the number. This game was won by Caleb! He nominated Hayden and Donny.

The Power of Veto was played and they had to jump over hurdles and into a ball pit. In the ball pit they would find 3 rubber duckies run over the hurrdle and then grab a power of veto medal. The first player to compete that task would win. Donny won and took himself off the block. Caleb replaced Donny with Nicole.
The showmance was ended with a very divided house they sent the second member of the jury who was...

This week was a hard week for me to decide who would be my player of the week. I could see a couple of players getting that honor but all of the had big reason not to be my player of the week. I ultimately decided on the player who is running the house but also managed to get one of the last floater out of the house. Because of this Derrick is my player of the week.

COLLEGE TIPS: Things You Need But Might Forget

Hello All,

School starts again soon? Say What? For all you freshmen out there I have compiled a list of things that weren't on my original list of things to bring.

1. An Umbrella, raincoat or rain boots or any combinations of those things.
Source
Most college are open and you will eventually have to walk outside in the rain. If you don't like getting wet then have these. Plus you normally can find some cute ones to wear!

2. Business causal clothing
There are couple of different reasons you might need those. One is classes, normally if you have to do a presentation the professor wants you dress nicely. Also there are sometime events on campus that you might have to dress professionally.

3. Some where to store you shoes
Source
If you are anything like me you probably have a good amount of shoes. At home you may leave your shoes all over the house or at the bottom of your nice size closest. But in college you are in small room and might find having a organizer more useful.

4. You're warmer clothes
Source
Yes, you move to school in the middle of August normally but a lot of the time the weather can turn on a dime and you don't want to be stuck on campus with only short sleeves.

5. An open mind
Source
You are going to meet a lot of people when you go to college and be offered to experience a lot of new things. When you're scared and nervous you will probably gravitate towards things you liked in high school or the type of people you hung out with in college. But you're best friend or favorite new hobby/activity/club might be something you never thought you would  do.

And those are things that I feel like a lot of college freshmen forget to bring with them. If you've gone to college what do you think most freshmen forget? Let me know in the comments below!

A Day in Boston ~ July 2014

Hello All,

For the last few days I have been giving you guys major updates on my trip to Boston. Although it was only a day and a half it was super fun! Thursday morning we took it pretty easy and slept somewhat late. Once all four of were ready to go we headed out onto the town.

The night before we passed what looked like a cute little diner called The Busy Bee Restaurant in  Brooklyn, Mass. It was a cute little place that was themed like the 1950s. I'm not a huge diner person so I was kind of like ehh about it but the rest of my traveling party LOVED it! They all said they'd recommend it and my friend, Amelia, who goes to school in Boston said she'd return again during the semester.

After that we decided to explore the city. We went down to Newbury Street to look around and stop in some shops. We stopped at each of the Second Time Around consignment shops and a cute little kitchen shop.

But my favorite place was the Lilly Pulitzer store! I had never been a huge Lilly fan mainly because I never really looked at her stuff. But Amelia loves her so of course we had to stop and look. As soon as we walked in there I was drawn towards a Lilly Planner. I am a self proclaim planner and am always looking for a design I like.

Well after looking around for a while Mama J surprised me and bough me my first Lily Pulitzer planner! I got the Tusk in the Sun design that had cute little elephants all over it. Although I have only been using it for a couple days I must say I'm in love with it. In a few weeks I'll probably do a review on it.

After the Lilly store we took the T back to our hotel and headed home. Over all it was a really fun couple of days.

My Lilly planner, I'm in love! (As posted on my Instagram)
As we passed Fenway
I was sitting outside a store and decided to take some pictures of my surrounds on Newbury Street. Such a cute little street!

Have a great guys!

Boston Red Sox Game ~ July 2014

Hello All,

Happy Wednesday! Last Wednesday I went to a Boston Red Sox game with Mama J, my oldest friend in the world, Amelia and Amelia's mom. Yesterday I talked about our pre-dinner at Max Brenner yesterday and I really can't rave about that place enough.

After dinner we headed to Fenway Park and went up to our seats in the Grand Stands. We were seated in a I believe left field and had some pretty awesome seats. I personally wish I had brought my regular glasses because we were far enough away that some things were somewhat blurry.

But the game was not the most exciting neither the Red Sox or Blue Jays were playing very well. But there were a few exciting moments but unfortunately the sox were not victorious but at least they had one run!

The young boy we were sitting in front was so adorable. He got so into the game and cheered the sox on and knew every player. Although he (and I) were both very disappointed that our favorite player, David Ortiz, wasn't playing.

The weather was perfect and the although it was disappointing the Sox didn't win I had a great time with some of my favorite people. I have been fortunate to go to about 4 games in my life. I can't wait to go to another one and one day hopefully bring future children.

Now enjoy some of the pictures I took while we were at the game because I'm a blogger we take picture everywhere we go!

Chocolate By The Bald Man

Hello All,

If you guys are hungry then this post is going to make it worst because its all about food!

Last week on Wednesday & Thursday I went to Boston for a night (more posts coming in the next few days) and on Wednesday night we went to an awesome restrurant, called Max Brenner.

His tag line is "Chocolate by the Bald Man," and they are famous because of their delicious chocolate! As soon as we walked into restaurants we were hit by the delicious smell of chocolate, I'm drooling just thinking about it. We were brought to our seats and we all took in the very cool decor. One of my favorite parts which I unfortunately didn't get to take a picture of was that they called the restaurant bar in "The Chocolate Bar".

For food the menu all looked delicious. It was mainly American foods, a lot of burgers and sandwiches. But they also had some pasta dishes and I think pizza. I got a Mac & Cheese meal because I believe if Mac and Cheese is on the adult menu then I must get it. It originally comes with bacon and roasted tomatoes in it but I got it with out the tomatoes. On the side it comes with tomato sauce and it was delicious to combine the two flavors.

The dessert menu was even more delicious looking. I wanted something on a lighter side and when I looked on the shake menu I knew exactly what I wanted. They had a hazelnut and chocolate shake. Basically it was nutella in shake form! I was hooked. And the second I tried it I fell in love!

Overall I would return to Max Brenner in a heart beat! I loved the food and atmosphere. My only disappointing aspect was that our waitress wasn't great but that's okay. If you want to find a Max Brenner near you or learn more about it you can by checking out his website here.

They had chocolate pipes throughout the resturuant which all read "100% Chocolate"

Beakers of chocolate chips
My plate!
Close up the mac &cheese
Shake, I'm drooling think about it
The tin the check comes in
The Welcome sign.
And that was my experience at Max Brenners. I highly recommend it!
